I spent a lot of time the other day unpacking my scrappy stuff and reorganizing everything. That made me very happy. I don't have to riffle through all my boxes and bags looking for things now when I want to work on a project. To top it all off, I actually sat at my scrap table for the first time in months, and finished off a project. I plan on making that a habit again.
This is a layout that I finished up over the summer. The pictures are from two years ago when many of my family members rented a cottage for a week together, and the kids were feeding the ducks off the dock. I couldn't find any duck embellishments that I liked, or that worked on this page, so I searched for clip art on the computer and found one of cattails, and one of the duck and layered them. I love the way it turned out!

ReplyDeleteFabulous LO! You're inspiring me to scrap! Have a great week.
ReplyDeleteLove this! My kids love to do stuff like this too-I think most kids do. Great idea to put the 'do not feed' sign on. How funny.
ReplyDeleteFab layout...your idea to use the clip art was so wise...it looks great!
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean about being ready to close up the trailer...Usually we close ours sometime in the first 2 weeks of October (weather permitting. This year we did it really early due to my surgery tomorrow.
It was sad to close it up in the midst of superb weather but what can you do. I think this will be the first time in a long time that i will miss the Adams River Salmon run! Oh well...
It is good to be back home with our supplies and creating our winter routines...I can't wait to start those scrappy routines.
I must be nervous about tomorrow as I seem to be leaving long comments today for everyone!!! teeeheee
