Welcome to a day in my life. I can't guarantee that this will be an exciting read for anyone. My life is filled with all the mundane activities of a stay-at-home-mom just trying to raise her three sons to be the best men they can be.

The 100 Day Project

It's a busy time of the year for me (or should I say us - Scrapbook Nerd).  We have a lot of events and retreats that we attend at this time of the year - either for our own development, or as the onsite vendor.  Last weekend we were away with the Scrappin' Cabin ladies. We had a blast - lots of laughs and very little sleep.  This weekend we are with the Scrap & Crop ladies for more of the same. Next weekend is the Dear Lizzy Fundraising crop and then the following weekend is a Nationial Scrapbook Day crop hosted by us.

Busy time!

So, what did I do?  I went and signed up for this:

I'm excited about this project because it's going to get me back into doing something creative everyday.  I miss that!
So, we are supposed to choose our own project, and create a unique hashtag for it (for instagram) so I'm focusing on paper crafts - layouts mostly, but there may be some cards and planner pages in there as well. So, if you want to follow along with my progress, follow me on instagram - @scrapnerdbarb and the hashtag #100daysofgettingitonpaper.

So, today is day four and so far so good, LOL!

Day One:

I did this layout of Cameron and I on the Rhino Riders in St. Martin a couple of years ago.  I love going through all my older stash and just pulling together different products.  I've gotten out of the habit of doing that since opening the store - I've been using a lot of collections in the last three years.

Day Two

I dug through my old pictures for this one.  I have more fun working with older pictures than current ones.  Again, I pulled together different papers and embellishments.

I will be back later to share Day Three and Day Four.

Have you joined The 100 Day Project?  If so, I'd love to know where I can see your creative projects.

  1. Great layouts! So colorful and fresh! I really like A Young Entrepreneur design and embellies. Terrific job!
