Welcome to a day in my life. I can't guarantee that this will be an exciting read for anyone. My life is filled with all the mundane activities of a stay-at-home-mom just trying to raise her three sons to be the best men they can be.

Much to Do

I've fallen a little behind this week. All of a sudden, my life has become crazy busy and I'm getting a little overwhelmed with everything on my plate right now. Anyone who knows me knows that I don't function well with an overflowing plate. I'm a procratinator by nature and so I only have myself to blame. I put everything off until I can't put it off any longer, and then I try and get everything done at once ... as well as keep up with the regular daily things. When will I learn?

Fortunately, I'm taking a break today. I'm heading out to spend the day scrapping with a couple of good friends. It will be a welcomed break for sure, and I know we will have lots of laughs.

...and after that, I'm coming home to pick up Cameron. We have had the same date every year for the last three years when Disney releases their Earth Day movie. Today is the day that Chimpanzee is out in theatres. I've been looking forward to it since last year's movie, Big Cats.

The work can wait for one day.

Before I leave, I'm sharing the challenge for this week on the Use Your Stuff Challeng Blog. This week Lynne challenged us to use the colours brown, green and peach. To me, these colours scream for me to grab some outdoor photos. So, I did.

These photos are from our trip this past summer to the Great Smoky Mountains and our drive through Cades Cove.
