Welcome to a day in my life. I can't guarantee that this will be an exciting read for anyone. My life is filled with all the mundane activities of a stay-at-home-mom just trying to raise her three sons to be the best men they can be.

The Simple Woman's Daybook

It's been a while since I've done this. So here it goes.
Outside My Window...  It's a cold, crisp day out there, but the sun is shining right now which makes it very bright when it reflects off the snow.
I am excited about ... our plans for the summer.
I am thinking... that sometimes I care way too much what other people think of me.
I am thankful for... changes, new friends, and new opportunities.
From the kitchen... ummmm ... I'm not sure yet. I want to get back to my weekely menu, but I can't seem to find the motivation yet. I'm still pretty tired after all the meals we made over the Christmas week.
I am wearing... yoga pants and a big, bulky hoodie, which I'm sure will be coming off as soon as I get off the couch and get moving around here.
I created this week ... I finally made it back into my scraproom after taking December off. It felt good to just go and play. I managed to get 6 layouts done.
I am reading... Nothing! I have three or four books sitting, waiting for me. I've been wanting to start one of them, but I've had a migraine for the last week and so the thought of reading is making me nauseated.
I am hearing... the sound of the furnace blowing warm air throughout the house. I'm very grateful.
I am wondering ...  where I put my migraine medication.
One of my favorite things ... listening to Cameron telling me about one of the amazing, creative ideas that he has floating around in his head and how he's going to make it.
Around the house... I have messes everywhere. Every room is showing post-Christmas exhaustion. So am I!
I am going ...  to have to go to the fabric store. I need to buy some nice flannel material to start making some quilts for the bunks in the trailer. It's been a long time since I've been inside a fabric store.
A Few Plans For The Rest Of The Week: cleaning, eye appointment, fabric store, parents' meeting for jazz band, chiropractor, birthday party on Saturday, concert on Saturday
A picture to share: Cameron had to make this robotic arm last year for sschool. He looked forward to making it for months. This year, in high school, he has joined to robotics club. I love it!
