Welcome to a day in my life. I can't guarantee that this will be an exciting read for anyone. My life is filled with all the mundane activities of a stay-at-home-mom just trying to raise her three sons to be the best men they can be.

Sharing Today

Happy Wednesday everyone.

Yesterday I spent the day with a couple of my fun scrapping friends. We hit the road and hit three different scrapbooking stores. It was such a fun day, and I came home so inspired by all the new ideas I saw, and new products that happen to follow me home.

My Tuesday scrapbooking group used to meet to scrap the day away every week in a store. Now, we're scrapbooking gypsies and we travel around to each other's homes each week. My scrapping has hit an all-time low and I find that I'm lacking enthusiasm for the hobby. Now I know why. I miss the inspiration of seeing new product and new ideas often. This morning I woke up so inspired and itching to play again.

For those who don't make it out regularly to a store, how do you keep the inspiration going?

I've still managed to keep up with the Use Your Stuff Challenge Blog (although the last two or three weeks I've dug into older layouts to post since I've been rather busy.)

This week we were challenged to use stitching on our project. You know, I don't stitch often enough! Whenever I do it, I think I need to do it more often.

So, I dug into my older layouts and posted this one.
You know, I look at this now and think I should have stitched more on it.

Come on over to the Use Your Stuff Challenge Blog and share your stitched projects. We'd love to see them.

  2. Cute page! I think it is fun you have a regular group to create with.
For me, I am inspired by looking at blogs and sketches. Pinterest has also been a huge source of inspiration lately.

  3. Oh yes, there is nothing like a field trip to the LSS! Next best thing is surfing and watching scrappy videos. Love your layout, the design and colors are wonderful! Thanks for stopping by my blog.

  4. Your layout is great. Love the colours and the photography is great.
Inspiration is all around me. I could be a colour, something one of my girls says or a photo that they took.

I read your last post and I totally agree. My blog is for me to document a bit of my life and some of my creative projects I am doing. I am still surprised people come to see what I am up to.
I would still blog if no one came to visit me, but don't get me wrong, I love the company and comments ;)

  5. I miss going to a LSS every week too. It does help with your mojo for sure. I really like your title treatment and the wave borders.
