December Daily - 19th, 20, 21st

December 19th

Cathy and I drove down to London to spend the day with Mom and to take her out shopping. We all had a little shopping to finish off and thought it would be fun to spend the day together. We spent the morning running around to different box stores and then we met Dad for lunch. After a nice, leisurely lunch, we spent the afternoon shopping in the mall. We really enjoyed our day together.
 December 20th
 Every year, just before Christmas, the girls from the Lunch Bunch get together on a Tuesday for a Christmas lunch. This year we went to Baton Rouge. There were 11 of us that were able to make it. Every year this is always one of the highlights of my December. There’s nothing like spending a couple of hours laughing and chatting with great friends.

December 21

Spencer finally finished his exams and came home for Christmas. It was so important for all of us to sit down for a family dinner. It’s been a while since we’ve all been home together like this. By special request, I made a family favourite – Thai Noodles. It was so good to relax around the table and listen to my boys chat and tease each other once again.
