Welcome to a day in my life. I can't guarantee that this will be an exciting read for anyone. My life is filled with all the mundane activities of a stay-at-home-mom just trying to raise her three sons to be the best men they can be.

Myrtle Beach

Our second week of vacation was spent in Myrlte Beach.
We stayed in a very small one-bedroom condo (if that's what you can call it) in Compass Cove.
It was small, dingy, and a little on the run-down side, but since we spent most of your time out, it suited our purposes.
That being said, I don't think we would ever rent there again.

Our condo was on the 15th floor so it was way up ...

...but it had a nice view.

We spent a lot of time out on the beach.
Fortunately it wasn't as hot as Tennessee, but it was still hot - hot enough for me to actually go in the water.

Other than relaxing on the beach we spent a lot of time at the Nascar Speed Park.
It made sense for us to get a 30 day pass because it was only $10 more than a daily pass and it meant that we could come back all week.

We also spent our time playing mini golf, and shopping.
We discovered a very cool place where you can go in and build your own remote controlled car.
Cameron was in his glory!

Then it was time for the long drive home!

Now we're home. It was a long drive and it felt so good to pull into the driveway.
It feels so good to be home ... until Thursday when I'll be leaving for the trailer.

  1. Too bad the condo was not nicer, looks like a nice beach outside the hotel.
Go carts are so great, we have not been to the one here in Brampton in a long while.
The build your own remote car place looks cool. I bet lots of Big Kids go there.
So did the boys miss you?
