Welcome to a day in my life. I can't guarantee that this will be an exciting read for anyone. My life is filled with all the mundane activities of a stay-at-home-mom just trying to raise her three sons to be the best men they can be.

The End of the Last School Year

Man, that seems like it was so long ago!

At the end of June we celebrated two graduations. First, Spencer graduated from high school. Once again, I found myself emotional as I watched my second-born son walk across the stage to collect a diploma that both signified the end of a twelve year journey and the beginning of a new one. We are so proud of him not just because of his accomplishments but because of who he is. We were also so thrilled for him that he won the music award and graduated on the honour roll.

The next night Cameron graduated from grade eight ... another end of an era and the beginning of a new one and he moves onto high school. All of a sudden he seems so much older! He also won the music award for the school, and got a music award from the school board for playing in the Halton Junior Jazz Band. He’s so excited about moving onto high school and we’re excited for him. Enjoy the ride, Buddy!I just can’t believe that I have to high school graduates now!

  1. Wow, congratulations to your boys for the great honors! High school will be coming very soon for us too over here. I'm sure it's a completely different ball game. I wish them all a great new school year! And, awesome new header Barbara! What a gorgeous family picture! :)
