Welcome to a day in my life. I can't guarantee that this will be an exciting read for anyone. My life is filled with all the mundane activities of a stay-at-home-mom just trying to raise her three sons to be the best men they can be.

A Week in Review

This week just seemed to drag on and on and on for me. I don't even have much to share in the end either ... well, maybe one not too happy thing to share:
-To make a very long and stressful story short, Matt has decided that the Biotechnology Programme just wasn't what he wanted. He said that he realized that he just wasn't enjoying it. On Wednesday we drove to the college and he withdrew from the programme. He doesn't know what he wants to do now, but he's going to have to get a job while he figures it all out. The school of life may teach him more at this moment in time.
-I spent a good part of my week trying to get a pink juice stain out of my family room carpet. It's still there, but it is a lot lighter
-We took advantage of some of the nice weather earlier in the week and got out into the gardens to start cleaning them up
-John and Spencer are away in Michigan on a band trip right now. They will be home tonight
-Cameron and I went out to see "Death at a Funeral". The language wasn't great, but it was a good, silly movie that made us laugh.
-Matt, Cameron, and I went to London for the day yesterday with Cathy. Cathy and I and Mom spent the afternoon shopping and then we all went out for dinner for Mother's Day
-the university offers are staring to come in for Spencer. He's received offers at McMaster for three different programmes, two at Waterloo. He's still waiting to hear from Waterloo for another programme, University of Guelph, and University of Toronto. Then he has some decisions to make.

Looking ahead:
-hopefully Matt and I can spend a few days outside and in the Nurseries to get all the gardens and lawns ready for the summer.
-Cameron has 3!!!!!!! evening concerts this week! 3!!!!!!!!!!
-next weekend I'm away - again! This time it's a girls weekend in Niagara Falls.
Here are a couple of recent layouts. The first one is the Halton Junior Jazz Band at the Regional Music Fest. In a couple of weeks they're off to the Nationals in Ottawa.

I'm slowly getting to all the pictures from our East Coast vacation last summer.

OK, I'm off to enjoy my Mother's Day. Matt told Cameron that they were going out to Walmart to buy me something and I think I'm going to spend my afternoon doing a layout or two.
Tonight is the finale for the Amazing Race! I can't wait. What am I going to do with my Sunday nights after this?
