Welcome to a day in my life. I can't guarantee that this will be an exciting read for anyone. My life is filled with all the mundane activities of a stay-at-home-mom just trying to raise her three sons to be the best men they can be.

It's a New Year!

Hey everyone. This is my first post for 2010. Just where did the year go? Didn't we just ring in 2009?

We had a nice evening here at home. Cathy and Don came over, and so did my friend Deb, and her fiance, Bob. We had our traditional Chinese food for dinner, watched hockey, and played some games. Not an exciting party, I know, but we prefer it this way, relaxing at home with people we love to be with.

I don't normally make resolutions for myself, but rather give myself a kick in the butt to get back on track with healthy eating and exercise. I've set some scrapping goals - 300 layouts to do this year and a few of those will be focused on the "real life scrapping" approach of Log Your Memories. I also want to start the project 365 again (snapping a picture a day for the year) but I plan on altering it slightly to what I tried last year to help me stay on track. Hopefully this year I will do a post each week with the pictures and then I will do a very simple photo collage to scrapbook.

That's it. I hope it's doable.

So, to start the ball rolling, here are the first three days of pictures:

Ringing in the New Year on January 1st:

On Janurary 2nd we drove up to Wasaga Beach to spend the day with John's brother and sister-in-law. We had a very nice day visiting with them and Cameron fell in love with Mia:

Yeserday we enjoyed some chocolate fondue that was actually meant for New Year's Eve but we never got to. Yum!

  1. Happy New Year Barbara! I wish you and your family a wonderful year 2010. :) Looks like you had a great holiday period. I love it too when things aren't too busy. Good luck with your goals for this year! I don't think I'd ever be able to do 300 layouts in a year... not at the pace I scrap! LOL
