Welcome to a day in my life. I can't guarantee that this will be an exciting read for anyone. My life is filled with all the mundane activities of a stay-at-home-mom just trying to raise her three sons to be the best men they can be.

No matter where I go with Spencer, people always ask "Where did he get his hair?" They are always surprised to hear my reply "From me." Yes, that's right, I have frizzy-curly hair.

My hair was always frizzy when I was younger, and I hated it and did my best with a comb or brush to get it straight. Unfortunately, back in the old days I didn't have products to put into it to tame it so I always hated my hair. In may late teens I finally learned how to straighten it, and have done so everyday of my life since then. Very few people have seen that other side of me.

When Spencer was small, he had white, straight hair. As he started getting older, his hair started to thicken up and develop a wave. Then he hit the beginning of puberty and his hair became quite a bit more curly. The lucky boy has some products that he uses to keep his hair from becoming a frizzy mess.

So, for those who have asked if he perms his hair (...is there a 15 year old boy on the planet who would consent to having his hair permed??), or wonder where he gets his hair from, or refuse to beleive that my hair is, infact, curly, here's the proof.

I can't believe that I actually posted those pictures of myself on the internet!!!

You are too funny! You look good with curled hair! :) Both my girls have curly hair and they didn't get it from me. I have straight fine hair that doesn't know what a curl is! LOL But they inherited it from my dh side, even if it doesn't show. ;) Too bad we always want the kind of hair that we didn't get at birth. *sigh( I think I might have to buy some flat irons very soon... But gotta love all the styling products on the market nowadays indeed! :)

  3. It's strange how people with straight hair would kill for curls, and people with curly hair would kill for straight hair.

  4. I know what you mean by curly hair. I have been blessed or should I say cursed with it. I hope and pray that my boys will not get it. lol I think you look great with straight or curly to me it's your kindness that counts.

P.S. I would not be returning if I were you too. lol

  5. In university I roomed with someone who had really curly hair. Shewould stand in front of the mirror blow drying her hair straight. I would stand beside her trying to get my hair to curl.
