Welcome to a day in my life. I can't guarantee that this will be an exciting read for anyone. My life is filled with all the mundane activities of a stay-at-home-mom just trying to raise her three sons to be the best men they can be.

On Victoria Day we went to Wonderland while Stephen and Nathan were here. It's been a couple of years since I've been there last and I wasn't looking forward to fighting the crowds, but we had such a wonderful day together. While the kids made some memories, we talked about the memories we had when we all were there together on the weekend that Wonderland first opened many years ago. It felt like it was just yesterday. It's hard to believe that so many years have past since that time. (although, my body certainly can't take the roller coasters like it could back in those days.)

Nathan's main goal was to ride the drop zone, which we all shared with him. Man, that thing was high! We were laughing at everyone in line everytime the ride went up, they all looked up and all you could see was nostrils. We had to pose for a picture to remember that moment ... check out the people behind us, they must think we're nuts ... OK, so we are ... but it's a fun place to be!

Cameron and Uncle Don waiting to ride one of the roller coasters.

Stephen and Spencer in line.

Nathan and I in line.

It was a fun day. And we get to enjoy it over and over again, because we got season's passes. YIKES!

Thanks, Stephen. I "borrowed" a couple of pictures from your blog.

  1. I'm glad you had a great day. I used to love amusement parks - now I can't stand them.

Think about it. We pay big bucks to spend 95% of the day standing in line. Stand for 30-60 minutes, ride for 2 minutes. Go to another line and do it all over again. And again. And again. . . But the marketing people have convinced us that this is the way to have a good time.

  2. Look at the picture again of Don and Camerson. Look at the background and you can see that Cathy was very amused and that John was not.
    It was a great day!

  3. Evie, sometimes great things come to those who wait! Drop Zone was worth it. The view is incredible and your stomach stays up when your body drops down.
