Welcome to a day in my life. I can't guarantee that this will be an exciting read for anyone. My life is filled with all the mundane activities of a stay-at-home-mom just trying to raise her three sons to be the best men they can be.

Well, it's been a week since I returned from CKU-A in Stamford, Connecticut. (and I'm still trying to catch up on my sleep). It was my second CKU so fortunately I knew what to expect. ...and knew that there would be a lack of sleep.)

I really enjoyed the classes. Much more this time than last because we came away with projects that I will actually use.

I took the "About a Boy" album track (surprised you I know!) I was able to finish it all so I was thrilled that I was able to bring it home completed with the exception of photos. Kolette Hall was the instructor and was really good.

I loved the mini album that we did also and thought it was so cool that the nine album track teachers each did a page. It gives the album a very unique feel and meaning. I want to add to this album.

The other classes I took were Rules of Retro where we made a really cute album that is very retro and fun. I did a class where we made a board album that is a friendship album. This was so totally cute and now I'm going to raid all of Cameron's old board books to make more! I did a class on a paper bag album that is inside of a metal tin. Adorable!! I also did a tag book class that was probably my least favorite. The last class was a picture frame that is decorated with 3D embellishments and then you pour resin on it. I made a sweet little boy frame for my nefew for Christmas.

The girls I went with this time were the same that I went with last ime, minus a few. We had so much fun together. This is a picture of 5 of us. The other three weren't with us when this was taken. I don't have a good picture of the whole group yet. I will upload one when I get a hold of one. From left to right is Christyne, Joanne, Lan, Marian, and then myself.

My all-time favorite person in the scrapbooking world would be BH - Becky Higgins. I just love her and love her style. After the mini album page that she taught, I got her to sign my page and then got a picture of the two of us together.

Wow! You got to meet Becky! Is she as nice as she seems she'd be? Did she say how the new baby is? Have I asked you enough questions? Congrats on meeting her! And tell me what you got in your CK goodie bags!
