Welcome to a day in my life. I can't guarantee that this will be an exciting read for anyone. My life is filled with all the mundane activities of a stay-at-home-mom just trying to raise her three sons to be the best men they can be.

Welcome 2013

happy New Year everyone. I can't believe that 2013 is here already.
December just flew by for me. I feel like I hardly had a chance to breath, let alone take the time to actually enjoy the season this year. It was way too busy for me. I constantly felt like I was one step behind. Because of that, I got way behind on my December Daily and am now trying to play catch up. However, I'm determined to finish it up.

So, on to the next 4 pages.

December 6th is a look back to Christmas 1962 when I was just a year old.

December 7th was an evening spent with friends (one of the few moments I had to just sit and enjoy.)

December 8th is another Christmas past memory from 1962 when we used to get together with all our Aunts, Uncles, and cousins on Boxing Day.

December 9th was all about trying to come up with gift ideas for my guys. It was a real struggle this year!

I'm not happy with the photos of the DD layouts so far. The background I'm using is  a cream and it's just one coming out in true colours ... even after photoshopping. I need to change my lighting obviously.

Come back tomorrow to see the next 4 pages.

Love what you have so far. I am done through the 15th. But then I have the pics and collages printed for each day after. I hope to finish by Sunday. Laurab. Www.whosthischick.com

  8. I think your Dec daily looks great. I really like the way you have alternated between your childhood Christmas memories and those of the present. It is very effective.
Your pages look crisp and clean and lovely!
