Welcome to a day in my life. I can't guarantee that this will be an exciting read for anyone. My life is filled with all the mundane activities of a stay-at-home-mom just trying to raise her three sons to be the best men they can be.

The Bathroom Wall

I mentioned a few times in November and December about buying some stone tiles for the powder room. The powder room is very small ... very small! We did a renovation on it about three years ago to at least try and make it nice but it still lacked something. One day when I was on Pinterest I saw a picture of a small bathroom like ours with a tiled wall behind the sink. I was inspired. As soon as John was inspired too we ran out and picked out the tile and ordered it. He promised that it would be installed by Christmas Day ... and it was. It was finished on December 24th!

I love it! It finally has that wow factor I was looking for.

Here's what it looked like before:

I told you it was small!!

and now...

I really love how it turned out. Even John has admitted that it was worth the time and money.

  1. First of all I love that sink. An ingenious use of small space to have towels.

And the wall now looks like it is a very high end bathroom like you would find in a fancy restaurant or hotel.

    Good job.
