Welcome to a day in my life. I can't guarantee that this will be an exciting read for anyone. My life is filled with all the mundane activities of a stay-at-home-mom just trying to raise her three sons to be the best men they can be.

Today

outside: our Christmas lights are up and looking at the weather forcast for the next 10 days, I'm glad we got them up while it was warmer out.
thankful:  that someone stepped up for an executive position for the jazz band because I was feeling very guilty not volunteering for it
eating: trying a new recipe tonight for dinner - turkey meatballs. I've been wanting to try it for a week now, but haven't had the chance
wearing: yoga pants, a t shirt, and barefeet again - changing shortly into my painting clothes
creating: a nice family room in the basement. It just may become the favourite room in the house
feeling: that I need to unplug more often
enjoying: having a playful kitty in the house again
going: grocery shopping - I'm tired of people going to the cupboards only to shut them and complain that there's no food in the house. I have to admit, though, we are pretty low on food.
wanting: too many things on my Christmas list. I need to narrow it down.
needing: a few extra hours in my days right now
planning: going rock climbing on Friday with the jazz band  and then out for dinner
wondering: if I should start my Christmas shopping soon. I haven't even given it much thought.
loving: the cooler temps at this time of the year
anticipating: snow. Yes, I know, I said the "s" word but I love snow and am looking forward to it's arrival
sharing: my babies - 14 years ago

  2. I'm glad also that we put up the lights over the weekend. We not finished outside but the hard part is done. What cute little boys you have Barb, such light coloured hair back then.

  3. Hmmm...our decorations will not go up for about two weeks. We have yet to start on our lists so no cutting items are needed.
