Welcome to a day in my life. I can't guarantee that this will be an exciting read for anyone. My life is filled with all the mundane activities of a stay-at-home-mom just trying to raise her three sons to be the best men they can be.

Friday Fragments

  • November is here. How did that happen?
  • What is it about November that makes me feel the urge to do some major work done around the house - like painting the basement, clean the carpets, tile a bathroom - it looks like I have some major work ahead of me in the next few weeks
  • Suki has settled in nicely. She is spending more time out every day just cuddling, playing, and exploring. Just now she has discovered the fish tank.
  • A lot of our time right now is taken up with bands ... whether it's practise, concerts, or running here and there for practises and concerts. I'm just glad that Spencer is driving and can drive him and Cameron to DYB. Tomorrow we have to go all the way up to Huntsville for a High Rendition gig.
  • I had a very therapeutic conversation with a friend a couple of weeks ago about how I need to learn how to be a little more selfish and learn how to put my own needs and wants first sometimes instead of always trying to make sure everyone else is happy. Hmmmm ... how to find the balance?
  • Sometimes, OK alot of times, I feel so invisable
  • I'm looking forward to having all my chicks back in the nest tonight ... everyone together. It's been over a month since we've had dinner together. I can't wait. Everyone's favourite - fajitas. I miss having everyone all home for dinner together
Friday Fagments can be found here.

  1. All of your babies back in the nest - enjoy every minute (And let them clean-up afterwards while you kick back with some "me" time!)

  2. Don't follow your blog, so I'm wondering who Suki is? A pet? Anyway, I must admit tho, I LOVE the name Suki.

And yes, dinner together, a very important aspect in family these days. And how can you go wrong...fajitas?!!! Got room for a guest at the dinner table?

  3. Enjoy the family time, it's so precious and hard to come by the older the kids get.

Any time you're feeling invisible, you come visit me and we'll make each other feel un-invisible. :)

Thanks for visiting me and have a great weekend!

  7. YAY family dinner. With the holidays coming this will be happening more. I miss that with just the two of us at my house. I think many of us including me feel invisible sometimes...you are not alone. I see you Barbie ((hug))

  8. We don't have our boys in the same house very often at all anymore. Looking forward to the holidays so they'll all be home at the same time!
