Welcome to a day in my life. I can't guarantee that this will be an exciting read for anyone. My life is filled with all the mundane activities of a stay-at-home-mom just trying to raise her three sons to be the best men they can be.

Our new addition

Last week Cameron and I wanted to go to the Humane Society to start our search for our new addition, but unfortunately they're closed to the public right now because of a ring worm outbreak. Instead, we went to a couple of different Pet Smarts - to their adoption centre.  If I could have, I would have adopted them all, but we couldn't find one that seemed like a good fit for our family.
I spent the next few days looking on Kijiji for people who were looking for homes for their cats. On Thursday a listing went up and she seemed perfect for us. The owners needed to find a new home for their cat as she was being picked on by their dogs and was hiding all the time.  I responded right away asking for more information. After a couple of emails back and forth we decided to go up to meet her and her owners to make sure we (us, them, and the cat) all liked each other. We came home with her.

Meet Suki. She is two years old, and has such a sweet temperment. She loves to play and is very affectionate.

She's still a little timid, and skittish as she's getting used to 5 new people and a lot of new sounds, but she is quickly worming her way into all of our hearts.

  6. What a little sweetheart! I fostered a cat who had been terrorized by a couple of dogs and he hid at our place for the first week until he realized there was only him there. Hope she settles in well Fleur.
