Welcome to a day in my life. I can't guarantee that this will be an exciting read for anyone. My life is filled with all the mundane activities of a stay-at-home-mom just trying to raise her three sons to be the best men they can be.

Use Your Stuff

Have you checked it out yet? It's been running for 4 weeks now and we're having fun challenging, inspiring, and motivating each other.

Last week's challenge was a colour challenge: use the colours orange, pink, yellow, green, and blue. What better colours for beach layouts?
Here's my layout for that challenge

This week's challenge is to use spray mists. I have to admit that spray mists scare me so this was a good challenge for me. It forced me to get out the mists that I had to have, and to play ... and I loved it.
I didn't spray my background (that still makes me very nervous. (I think it's just too random for my liking.) Instead, I misted the chipboard letters and circle with two different colours - an orange and a brown. I also put orange mist on a sponge and inked the edges of the layout and the journal strips. I loved the result - it shimmers (but you can't tell from the photo).

Do you want to be motivated to get scrapping again? Come over to Use Your Stuff and get scrapping. Add your link to your finished projects. We'd love to see them.
