Welcome to a day in my life. I can't guarantee that this will be an exciting read for anyone. My life is filled with all the mundane activities of a stay-at-home-mom just trying to raise her three sons to be the best men they can be.

Christmas Highlights

I can't believe that Christmas is over already! I feel like this year I hardly had any chance to just enjoy the festivities. The whole month was spent running here, there and everywhere. I know you all know the feeling.

Still, Christmas Day came and it was another wonderful day. This year we had both John's parents, and my parents here, along with my brother, Rick, my sister Cathy, and my brother-in-law, Don. They all came Christmas Eve and stayed over. There's nothing I like more than a ton of people sitting around the tree Christmas morning, sipping tea, watching everyone open their presents, and enjoying each other. I didn't take any pictures, but John captured some. I love what he captured, because it really reflects the morning.

Before everyone was up.

Cameron's favorite gift - his cell phone.

Matt spent a lot of time and effort shopping for everyone this year. He couldn't wait for me to open the Pandora Bead that he picked out for me.
Beautiful Grandma

Uncle Don was happy getting a remote-controlled helicopter. Inside every man is still a little boy.

I love watching Matt open gifts. It doesn't matter what it is, it's always his favorite.

I'm not even sure that Spencer was awake the whole morning. Inspite of his enthusiastic look, he loved getting the Silent Brass - which now means he can take his instrument back to his dorm and practise without bothering anyone.

The rest of the day was filled with preparing food, eating, and just relaxing with each other. There's nothing better than that!
Now, onto New Years Eve.
Have a wonderful 2011 to all of you, my friends.

  5. Your tree looks fabulous! Looks like Christmas was fun at your house too. Love how you took photos of everyone holding a gift - will have to that next year. Usually I get the whole mess kind of deal.
