A Day in my Life

Yesterday my in-laws came down. Garnet's computer has been playing dead lately, so he brought it over so that John could try and fix it for him.

While John and Garnet got busy with the computer, I took Ruth out shopping. We hit Walmart - bought some new sheets for the trailer, new running shoes for me, sunglasses for Ruth.

Then we went for a nice lunch at William's Coffee Pub. I love going for lunch there. Good food, nice atmosphere, and I feel like a grown-up.

Then we hit Ikea. Have I ever mentioned how much I love Ikea?? I could go there every week. So many cool things. I didn't buy a lot, but check out these cool finds!

Look how cute this little cutting board is. It has a knife that slips right inside when not in use. It's only about 6" x 8" so it's perfect for taking along on a picnic, throwing in a lunch box (ummmm ... not to school, I'm sure I would get a phone call home about that one!) or just pulling out for cheese and crackers for a snack. I love it so much, I bought two.

I also bought one of these ... in green. Very cool. Perfect for the trailer ... that is, until a pillow fight starts, or someone starts rough housing, and it gets smashed (so it may last a couple of days.)
