I usually find it easier to come up with one pagers, either with one or a few pictures on them for my DT assignments.

As for mini albums, I don't have that many myself. I've done a couple for the girls and so far they are in my scrap room. I might do like Ali does and put them in something on my coffee table (when I get it in a couple of weeks ;P) to showcase them and let people look at them. I had to do one as an assignment for October and I actually had a lot of fun doing it. It's a great format for someone, like me, who doesn't scrap most of her "events" pictures even if I take tons of them.

Have fun at your scrap retreat next week. :)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13746939.post-64739416013138693862008-11-16T21:38:00.000-05:002008-11-16T21:38:00.000-05:00I love your pages... your multi-photo pages... the...I love your pages... your multi-photo pages... the two-page spreads. And no, you're not the only one who scraps this way still. I do too. I have a number of one page LOs on my blog right now because I'm in gift album mode... my 8x8 albums tend to have more one-photo LOs than my 12x12s do, but when I scrap for my own albums, most of my LOs have more than one photo on them.

As for the Maya Road journalling tags, Nathalie gave me part of her pack at the NSD crop, and I've used one on a page... couldn't get any of my pens to write on it properly though, so I used a bunch of little letter stickers. Fun, funky... and yes, it was a two-page, multi-photo LO. *grin*

Mini books. I love the idea of them... I don't have the patience for them. Ali Edwards suggests having them displayed in a pretty basket on your coffee table. Someday, I might actually use the HUGE pile of empty mini books I've accumulated. (I've done about 10 in my scrappy life... all of them gifts. :))Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13746939.post-55945131424274696312008-11-16T19:38:00.000-05:002008-11-16T19:38:00.000-05:00That journaling stuff looks interesting. Sounds like a waste of time and energy to focus always on one photo.
This comes from the peanut gallery from Calgary.Stephenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11440657052901467269noreply@blogger.com
